Very well-appointed room with comfortable beds, plenty of closet space and almost all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay (kettle, tea, toiletries, extra pillows, etc.). The towels were extremely soft and fluffy. Breakfast had good variety: They offer hot food including scrambled eggs, sausages and bacon, which is a huge plus compared to other boutique hotels in Europe which mostly serve continental breakfast only. Location is convenient: 10-minute walk from Gare de Lyon (where we arrived); only a few minutes' walk to the nearest metro and bus stop; many good restaurants nearby. Worth noting that the location is slightly farther away from main tourist attractions such as The Louvre and Eiffel Tower, for those who prefer a short walk to these attractions. However, we knew that when we booked and it was nice to enjoy somewhere more local. (Also it's easy to get around Paris via metro.) Friendly staff. Good value for money especially in an expensive city like Paris. Solid 4 stars as advertised.

Excellent location to metro and other major train lines. You can easily get to RER lines eg Gare Austerlitz, Gare de Lyon, and the lovely Jardin des Plantes are 20 min walk. Bastille métro or Quai de la Râpée métro stop on line 5 is 7 min max. easy walk. The hotel is in a quiet street within east walking distance to shops and left bank - 5th arrondissement and Latin quarter are accessible by the pedestrian bridge at the end of the street. Easy walk to the Marais district, Pompidou etc. A delicious Artisan bakery is 50m walk from hotel as well as Carrefour supermarket and lots of other restaurants. Rooms are quite spacious, very comfortable, lots of light, peaceful for sleeping and with good air conditioning that combats hot Paris days, plus there is a large window that opens. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. We hadn’t stayed in this Paris quartier before - always in Saint Germain, but we would definitely return. A solid 4 star experience.

The hotel was wonderful. The location was excellent, in a really quiet street but, very close to shops and restaurants annd metro stations. We were able to walk to the river, Notre Dame, the Marais and other must sees very easily. The room was very comfortable and clean and, by Paris standards, quite big. The bathroom was great too. Breakfast was served on the groundfloor, adjacent to the lobby, which I loved. There were also some interesting art pieces in the lobby. Breakfast was really good, a good choice and really good scrambled eggs. We also liked the provision of carafes and tumblers for us to take water to our room at night. The staff were excellent, particulary Kevin and Qinza. They were really friendly, helpful and efficient. We ate at a nearby restaurant, Le Botaniste, twice, which we would also recommend highly. Overall, our return to Paris after 14 years , was a great success, thanks in large part to this beautiful hotel.

The hotel is close to the Opera, five minutes from Bastille or Gare du Lyon stations in a safe area with plenty of decent restaurants and bakeries nearby. Staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were modern, clean, well equipped, with comfortable beds albeit a bit tight for space. The buffet breakfast had a good range of fresh items including a couple of hot items. I enjoyed the salmon and scrambled eggs. Plenty of drink options including teas and real coffee. The breakfast room was large though the tables were very tightly packed away from the white walls. About half the chairs were very low so suitable only for small people or children. You may have to queue for a short while if arriving about 9am.

Very well placed for the Gare de Lyon and the major landmarks in Paris. Clean and comfortable if not spacious. No seating, but hanging space/storage provided. Bathroom was good with toiletries and hairdryer. Room well soundproofed and bed was comfortable. Tea and coffee provided in the room and small mini bar fridge. Breakfast had a good selection but limited number of tables with conventional chairs. Cold water was available for filling drinks bottles. Staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke very good English. Luggage storage is available.
